"Or..." Charlotte gave a mischievous grin. "One of us could walk in and sit down, inconspicuously of course, at a critical point in the meeting. Then, since the person couldn't be told off until the critical point passed, that person would at least get a chance of hearing something good. If that person got kicked out, then the person staying behind would still get to hear plenty of things and we could piece the clues together later on. But that's assuming that the person gets kicked out. I mean, if Chiron or...Mr. D really didn't want any of the junior campers to come to the meeting, then they would have called the heads to the meeting more subtly. Plus they would have guarded the door. So let's be optimistic. I'm perfectly willing to, as you put it, 'waltz right in' and most likely 'waltz right out' because hey, I'm a junior camper and a daughter of Zeus so I can't be punished too badly, right? A silly, curious, young, innocent, new-to-camp, little air-head can't be expected to know all of the rules, right?" Charlotte beamed again, giving the perfect impression of the girl of her description. "Oh, and if you're wondering, devising crazy plans that are bound to get me in trouble and getting out of them with my *cough superb cough* acting is just one of my - sadly few - talents. But then," she added in a passive, soothing tone, "I'm also perfectly willing to stay here and listen to bits an pieces of broken conversation and then attempt to puzzle them out later." She smirked. "I do put up a weird argument, don't I?" Charlotte laughed softly and blew wood scraps from the symbol she had been carving into the floor. She stared at it for a few moments and shook her head. Then she expertly wiped out all evidence of its existence.

"Coming up with devious plans is good. Especially in a situation like this. I hope I have you on my Capture the Flag team." Sawyar thought for a moment. "Yes to the fact that you are new so that may give you some slack, but being the daughter of Zeus won't. Sorry. Me, I might get away with it. I mean, I sure most people know of my curiosity, and I'm not afraid of any punishment they decide on. I don't know maybe it is the fact that I want to be the one in trouble, or maybe it's that I would be jealous of you going in and getting to heart what is going on, is what is influencing why I want to go in there. Honestly I would go in there, I don't mind getting in trouble and, jeez I should have been a child of Hermes. Sorry Charlotte, I think I'll go, if you don't mind," Sawyar stood up. "Now we just wait for the critical moment," Sawyar looked down at Charlotte,"and yes you do put up a weird, put oddly convincing argument."

“Ah, the tragedy, the great and devastating tragedy of being born to the wrong parent!” Charlotte swept her hand to her forehead and made a mock faint. “Frankly, I agree with you on everything because that’s exactly how I’m feeling. But I shan’t fight you to get in trouble, partly because my peaceful personality is kicking in and partly because I have a feeling that a fight in the door of the big house would get both of us in trouble.” She laughed softly and saluted Sawyar in a formal tone. “So then, go! Go, Sawyar daughter of Poseidon! Go and may you not get squashed to a pulp by angry heads!” Charlotte spoiled her act by breaking into irrepressible giggles. “Anyways, when and if you get kicked out you can go meet me by the…um… mess hall!”

"You acting is wonderful," Sawyar grinned at Charlotte, "and I thank you for not arguing with me. And I hope that I won't get smashed to a plup... A broken arm is all I care for," she teased back. She peered into the room and watched for a moment before slipping in and sliding into one of the closest chairs possible. If they saw her, which they all probably did, they had yet to make a move of it. She relaxed in the chair and acted as if she had been invited in.

"Thanks," she replied. "It's in my blood, sort of. Dad's side." Charlotte smirked. "Good luck." Then she watched anxiously as Sawyar made her entrance, praying that 1) She wouldn't get kicked out and 2) That the heads were talking about something good and interesting. As Sawyar quietly slipped into a chair, Charlotte felt relieved that nothing had happened yet. The table was partially silent, so hopefully nobody was staring in shock at Sawyar, waiting for Mr. D to blast her out of the room.

Dylan heard a person come in before the rest of the group. She turned her head toward the noise. "Uhm, excuse me," Alina Rose spoke up, after a notable silence because of Sawyers entrance, "But what are you doing here?" Dylan poked the person next to her shoulder. He immediately understood what she wanted and whispered to her, "Its Sawyer, daughter of Poseidon." Dylan nodded. Poseidon's children do have a way of budding in... She thought to herself as she leaned her elbow on the arm of her chair, waiting for someone to say some thing to break this awkward silence.

Perking up when Alina spoke Sawyar first answered, "You're excused," before answering the real question. "Well, I think I'm here for the same reason you guys are. To hear about whatever you were called here for." Sawyar would play dumb for the moment, pretending she hadn't already heard most of the conversation. "Apparently, my messenger got lost in camp somewhere. I sure hope they hadn't wandered into trouble." She gave a polite smile, "Sorry I'm late. Just continue on. I'm sure I'll fill in the missing pieces along the way." She leaned back in her chair and looked expectantly at Alina. --- Ash stared at Sawyar in shock. She had just come in like it was no big deal that she was butting in on a cabin head's only meeting. She's so calm, Ash thought. And the silence is starting to suffocate. She was happy when Alina talked again, but tensed up at Sawyar's answer. Doesn't she care that she'll probably get heavily punished for this? She looked at Alina for her reaction before looking at Chiron's. She was curious about how he'd respond to this intrusion.

Chiron raised his eyebrows, obviously annoyed with all the interruptions. Dylan snorted a laugh and glanced at Dominic, the Poseidon head. Eventually Alina just rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. Chiron seemed to let the intrusion go as well because they really had to get going. "Take a seat."Chiron moaned, "But no one else!" He stared down Sawyer with cold eyes, "I'm only letting you stay because Dominic and Alina don't REALLY seem to mind." "Ya, not REALLY." Alina mumbled, "Just a LITTLE."

ooc:sorry it is short
Sawyar kept the polite smile on her face. She was calm when she said, "Thank you," but really she was thrilled. She didn't actually expect Chiron to allow her to stay. Settling back in the chair again she waited for the next bit about the prophcey.

OOC- Thats ok. Mine is relaly short 2 "Well!" Dylan added with a sigh, "Moving on!" The rest of the Cabin heads nodded and some moved their eyes to Chiron and others to Alina as if questioning what to do next. Everyone except Reed. He was still staring coldly at Alina and mouthed to her something. Nobody seemed to catch it but Alina who just shook her head and said, “The next part, one will be lost along the way. I don’t like the sound of that.” “I don’t know anybody who would like the sound of that.” Reed mumbled to himself. “Oh shut up.” His girlfriend countered.

"Well, why would anyone like that bit of the prophecy?" Sawyar chimed in right away. "I mean, someone is going to be lost during this quest. And usually we can assume that those that get lost will be killed. So who would like that? Of course it could be that they are only lost figuratively. Like they come to a point where they don't know what to believe or who to trust or what to believe." She pause to take a breath. "Of course when is anything that simple for us poor unfortunate souls?"

Alina rolled her eyes as they turned white with rage, “Yes, I think we all know that is COULD be meant figuratively. Do you really think that all of the Cabin heads couldn’t figure that out on their own? That’s why we are the cabin heads.” Alina stood up, but she wasn’t staring at Sawyer, she was focused on Reed. “Alina!” Chiron started, “Calm down. We need to figure this out before sun down.” He motioned toward the window.

Sawyar was about to answer Alina, but she shut her mouth when she noticed that Alina's fury wasn't directed at her. It was to another cabin head. Reed, Sawyar thought when she finally placed his face with his name. Reed Johnson head of....... oh, Hermes cabin. I think. I'm pretty sure. Internally she shrugged. It didn't really matter all that much. At least she wasn't in trouble. Though she didn't want the anger of the daughter of Zeus directed at her at the moment. --- Well, this is certainly more eventful then I had anticipated. Ash looked up at Alina. She was pissed, and.... Cool her eyes can do that? Remembering that the fact her eyes looking like they burned white hot was not the focus of attention, she refocused her attention on the issue but didn't speak due to the fact she was afraid what would happen if Alina turned her anger to someone else.

ooc:Don't worry i'm known for the shortness of my posts.
Dom had been listening intently to everything that had been going on during the meeting, and when it came to the prophcy, his attention had been grabbed. However instead of inputuing his own information, he decided to instead take mental notes, and then figure it all out later when he got back to the cabin. Partway through the meeting, he thought he had saw movement out the corner of his eye. But wheb turned round, there was nothing there. "Must be my imagination he thought to himself." So the meeting continued. A few minutes later though, he relised he had seen something, when Saywer walked through the door. Instead of saying something, he simply gave her a look that said, 'We'll talk about this later'. When Chiron said she could stay because he didn't mind, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said "Fine by me" He relised he might have to say something, when he caught Dylan looking at him, but he still kept his mouth shut. Then Alina began shouting, and for a moment he stood up, ready to help Sawyer, should she need it. He glanced his eyes briefly, first at Sawyer, to say 'I'm here for you', then at Alina to say, 'Please don't start a fight.' luckily they both saw that she was directing it at Reed. Interally he sighed, then took his place again. After a while Chiron calmed her down and they could continue.

Sawyar watched in surprise when Dominic rose from his chair when Alina started shouting. She had only seen it from the corner of her eye, but she was truely surprised. Earlier she knew that she'd be in trouble with Dominic because of her walking right in. She didn't expect that he'd support her at all. Now if only Alina would calm down completely so they could really get on with the meeting. Honestly, what's that all about?... Well, it doesn't really matter. I would believe that getting through this meeting and on to the quest would be more important. Guess not in her book. Sawyar would like to have interjected, but without knowing the real reason she was mad, Sawyar decided it was best to keep out of it. She seemed to be opening old wounds or something. Those two have another reason to be angry with each other.

The meeting went through as planned. At first Alina was reluctant to give her opinion, having so much trouble with it already. Everybody seemed pretty tense since the not-so finalized argument between Reed and Alina. A couple of the older Cabin heads seemed to know what was going on between them and exchanged looks of understanding. Eventually it was established, that the demi-gods that would go on the quest, would head to Europe, hope that no one was physically lost along the way. Then visit Alina’s mom, because it seemed like that part was important in the prophecy. Then there was a silence. As if everybody was trying to picture this quest, and imagine how it would end. Most of Reed’s imaginings did not end happily. Breaking the silence, Alina said, “Well I’m going. Obviously. Who else?” “Yes,” Chiron chimed in, “Who else would like to volunteer?” Dylan put her hands up playfully, “I’m out. There’s no way I’m getting between this again.” Reed said nothing, just stared into the open space.

Amaria had been sitting silently throughout the whole meeting. She watched as Alina and Reed had there exchange, the odd appearance of Sawyer, and then the even odder response of Chiron when he said she could stay. Amaria had been in deep thought, but she snapped out of it as Alina asked who else was going with her on the quest. Without thinking about what she was doing, she stood up and said, "I'm going too."

The meeting went well, even after Alina's blow up at Reed. Which Sawyar was still curious about. Alina announced that she was going and Chiron asked if anyone else would go.Well I'm not gonna miss any of this. "I'll go," Sawyar offered. Even if I won't be allowed.

"I'll go"
At this Dom perked his ears immdiatly and jumped up, at the saying "Oh hell no. No way Sawyer. You think I'm going to let my sister go trapsing around, proboaly to almost certain death. No way am I going to let that happen. If anyones going to go, it's going to be me. I'm the cabin head, not you." He stood there, not caring who was looking at him. He had never really had a real family, and now that he did, he wasn't going to lose them on some quest.

The others two had both been talking away about this and that, and then it was finally decided that Sawyer was going to gatecrash the meeting. David would have voulentered for this, but she seemed up for it, so he let her get on with it. But he wasn't going to leave. Hell no. He was going to stay and see what was happening. So when it was decided who was going to go on the quest, he istantly jumped from his hiding place, and stormed into the room demanding, "Well I'm going to come as well. I don't what you say, even you say I can't, I'll find a way to come, so you might as well let me come along anyway."

"Well, that's to bad, Dom. Being the cabin head doesn't give you the authority to strike me from a quest I've already volunteered for. If me dying is what you are worried about, fine, that's your problem. You aren't going to change my mind." Sawyar wasn't going to back out of this quest at the insignificant fact that Dom didn't want her to go. When David entered the room Sawyar wasn't surprised when he announced he was going to. Well, when one eavesdrops on a conversation like this, you can assume that those eavesdropping are going to help.

Ooc- yes, I am trying to do this on my iPod. Lol so it's gonna be really short.
"David no. You can't do this." Alina said sternly in a worried tone, "where did you even come from?" "Oh, so you expect someone else to listen to you tell them not to go but you won't listen to me tell you?" Reed yelled standing up from His chair, "Fine." And he stormed out of the room. Alina called after him, but he was already gone.

Ash was all but under the table as the meeting wore on. Especially when who'd go came up. I'm definitely not going. She watched Alina, Amaria, and Sawyar volunteer for the quest. Then Sawyar's and Dom's argument and Alina's disapproval of David going. And then Reed storming out. Ash wondered if she could leave too, just a little more discreetly. --- "Well," Sawyar looked around at the volunteers, "I think we got our five for the quest. Why don't we go tell the campers the joyful news," Sawyar gave a half smile, not caring that it wasn't her that ran the meeting, and that she'd probably get chewed out for this. One, for eavesdropping, two for ignoring her cabin head and thirdly... well, she was sure there might be a three somewhere in there.

Dom started fuming and could hear the sea roaring in his ears. He then looked at Chiron, and said, "Don't you have anything to say about this" Chiron looked at him and then sighed. "I'm sorry Dominic, but, Saywer is correct. You don't have the authority to strike her from the quest if she is willing to go." He looked at him with hatred in his eyes. He then turned back to Saywer. "Fine I quess you come. Theres nothing I can do about it." He then sat down and waited for the meeting to finish.
"Well, I think we got our five for the quest. Why don't we go tell the campers the joyful news,"
Dom stood and waited for the rest to leave. When it was just him and Saywer left, before she could leave, he grabbed her arm, turned her to face him and said, "What the Hades Saywer. What were you thinking? You knew this meeting was for Cabin heads and yet you still came What was going through your mind. Huh?" His rant at a finish, he let her arm go, and waited for her replie.

Sawyar had been expecting that Dom would like to talk to her about all of this, but she still surprised her when he caught her arm. She allowed him to turn her around and she faced him. "Honestly? Nothing other than the fact that it was only for heads and I wasn't invited. Do you know nothing Dom? I was sure at least my half brother could have figured out that I have more curiosity than a cat. If a messenger comes to the cabin demanding for your presence at the Big House for some reason, it doesn't matter what it is, I'm going to be there too," she looked him in the eyes, face blank. "So, with that fact in mind, you'd think that I wouldn't volunteer for this? If you still think that you are going to change my mind about this, then forget it. I'm going, whether you like it or not. So, I'd suggest that you forget about this and start getting ready for the quest." With that, she turned on her heel and stalked out of the room.
