Lance made his way to the top of the hill, looking at the pine tree and bowing his head slightly to the dragon resting on it. "Well, guess I'm here," he said to himself, pushing up his sunglasses with a sigh. Through the black of his glasses, he saw a group of kids about his age, other half-bloods like him he assumed, watching him. Heading down lazily, Lance couldn't get his mind off of anything beyond finding out where he would be staying and get to sleep as fast as possible.

Amaria looked up at the top of the hill and saw a outline of someone. Someone else has found there way to camp, she thought. She looked around her and saw that everyone else had already noticed him. "Alright everyone, stop staring, your probably making him wish he hadnt come," Amaria said loud enough for everyone around her to hear. Amaria started up the hill to where the demigod stood. As she got closer she saw that he slumped with tiredness. Probably from fighting for his life against monsters, she thought. "Hey, welcome to camp half blood! I'm Amaria by the way."

"Hey," Lance replied to Amaria briefly. He didn't want to be talking with anybody for any longer than he had to. The faster he got through this, the faster he could get some sleep. "I'm Lance Creed. It's nice to meet you. Now, do you mind telling me where I'll be sleeping. I'm tired at the moment and need to get some rest."

OOC: i know in your character application it says you already know your dad is Hades (because your mom told you) but Amaria doesnt know that. So your character can tell her that (hope that made sense) "Well that depends," Amaria said. She didnt know what cabin he would be in. "We should probably go talk to Chiron." Amaria looked at him and saw he was annoyed and tired. "I guess you can meet him in the morning." Amaria racked her brain on where he could stay. She felt bad for him. She knew what it was like when she first arrived here. "You can just stay in the Hermes cabin for now untill we know who your parent is."

"No need. I already know," Lance said with a scowl. He didn't particularly like to talk about his family, especially not with weird demigods he'd just met, but could tell that it would probably be best to make sure they knew where he belonged right away. Besides, there was something about this girl that made him feel like she was somebody he could trust, somebody that he hoped wouldn't be as irritating as everybody else he knew. "My father is Hades. What about you?" he told Amaria.

Amaria stood there shocked, no stunned. What had he just said? No, she must have heard him wrong. She was not expecting that at all. She tried to say something but all that came out was something that sounded like a cough. "What?!" She finally was able to say. She shook her head trying think straight. He couldnt be, there hasnt been anymore Hades children since like twenty years ago, except her. She realized he was staring at her waiting for an explanation. "Um, I mean I'm a daughter of Hades so I guess I could show you to our cabin."

"I'm guessing you weren't expecting that," Lance said with a laugh. It was either incredible luck or divine fate that he'd meet a child of Hades, one of his siblings, as soon as he got there. Either way, it really didn't matter to him at the moment. This girl could take him to his cabin right away. "Anyway, how many others are in our cabin? Just so I can know how crowded it'll be."

Amaria forced a laugh, "I dont think your going to have to worry about it being crowded," she said. She led him to there dark and dull cabin. When she opened the door she said, "It's actually just you and me." She led him to his bed and told him, "This is where you'll be staying and I'm just over there." Amaria pointed to her bed. "So do you want me to show you around or do you...?" Letting her question hang, she saw him already eyeing his bed, getting the hint. "Ok let me know if you have any questions." She didnt know what else to say because she never had to do this before, being the only one in her cabin.

"I guess Hades isn't the type of god to have a lot of kids," Lance said, taking in the interior of the cabin. It was the kind of place normal people would call dreary or dark, but it suited him just fine. The cabin had no windows, which meant that he could sleep for as long as he wanted without the sun waking him too early. "Just one question really sis. Is there any schedule around here, or are we free to do as we please?" Lance asked Amaria, removing his sunglasses and placing them in the pocket of his jacket, along with a black iron bracelet that turned into his spear whenever he needed it. He desperately hoped it was the later, but he had a feeling that it wasn't.

Amaria laughed, this time it wasnt forced. "Ya, that would be the life," she said, "No, there are activities and classes all day and then we get like two hours of free time before the camp fire every night. And then we have capture the flag every friday." Amaria smiled, "Thats the best part. You should really talk to Chiron about the details though. Oh, then there's breakfest, lunch, and dinner in the mess hall."

"I figured as much," Lance said with a sigh, sitting on his bed. It could be worse, he knew that much, but his life had never been very ordered. He wasn't used to a regular schedule in his life. At least not one that didn't make room for at least 10 hours of sleep per day. Stretching out on his bed, he shut his eyes to sleep. "If you don't mind, let me sleep for as long as possible sis," he told Amaria in a weary tone as he slipped into his dreams.

OOC: i didnt really know what to do "Sure," Amaria responded, "But that wont be long. We have dinner in half an hour." Amaria saw that he was already asleep. Oh well, she thought to herself, might as well get as must sleep as he can. Amaria looked around the cabin and tried to think of something she could do before they had to go to dinner. Finding nothing she sat down on her bed. She found herself drifting off to sleep, too. And before she knew it she was out.
