The world is a brutal place; it can be kind at one moment, and vicious the next. To survive in this world, we hold close to us those on whom we depend. We trust in them our protection, our hopes, and our fears. But what happens when that trust is lost? What happens when the one thing we cling to betrays us? Where is our refuge, when the world has become the enemy? Where do we run, when all seems lost? Where can we turn, for hope? When confronted by our worst nightmares, our choices are slim: we fight or we run. We hope to find the strength to stand against our worst fears, but sometimes, with an unknown future and despite ourselves, we run.
With a new found fear against the Gifted, the world turns on its own and seeks a figure – whether in the shadows or in the light – for understanding. Our Heroes must come to terms in this new dark world. Will you fight to survive or will the Exodus begin?
