Name: Sol Jefferson
God-parent: Phthonus
Other family:
-- William Jefferson ** twin brother (alive)
--Samantha Jefferson ** mother (deceased)
Appearance:
Hair- blonde
Eyes- blue
Build- a bit thin, kind of muscular (( sorry I suck at this part >< ))
Clothing- Sol doesn’t really like to stand out, that’s why he dresses more casual. He doesn’t want to drag everyone’s attention on him so he normally hangs in the shadows and dresses in dark colors
Gender- male
Personality:
Sol can seem to have several different personalities depending on how well you know him. He can get jealous very easily due to his father being Phthonus. He tries to hide it but mostly fails at it. If you've just met him, he can seem like a stuck up brat at times who's big mouth almost always seems to get him into a fight. He doesn't make friends that easily, but when he does he can be a loyal and good friend to have. He can at times seem over protective of his friends. Half of it is because of what happened in his past (found in history) and the other half is because well, he'd rather get into a fight than have a friend fight. So part of it can be viewed as somewhat selfish while the other can be viewed as somewhat carrying. Even as good friends, Sol's jealousy can still show. He often tries to hide his jealousy as stated earlier, but even in with his past friends he often bickered with them and fought them and became jealous of them when their parents would contact them and his wouldn't, or when they defeated a monster and he didn't. He mostly bickered with Jake Austin, since the two were almost polar opposites at the time.
The young Demigod does prefer to keep to himself, and tries not to get close to anyone. He doesn't talk much, but does make smartass comments a lot. He can't help it. He sees an opportunity and he takes it, though it often resulted in him getting in fights. Sol isn't as villiont as his brother, William, though, who often acted innocent and sweet to aggrevate Sol. To say that Sol gets angered easily would, well, almost be an understatement. He doesn't really take jokes too well and when insulted, lets just say that unless you're a girl, he'll throw a punch at you. After being with Anna so long, who was strict on the Bible and that kind of stuff, he got it stuck in his head to not hit a girl unless his life was in danger; Anna basically said it so many times to him, and for a reason he still doesn't know only him, that its now stuck in his head and he follows it, despite the rest of his personality.
Sol is a difficult person to truly understand. Its hard to label him with one personality, or as one type of person. So easily he can change himself completely. When it comes down to it, he's still the same guy, but he can disguise himself and put up whatever front he wants. On the streets of New York, he tried to act like some New York teenage punk so others wouldn't mess with him, while at Camp he attempts to act like a shy teen who has been through a lot and doesn't want to talk about it, though often his anger issues get in the way. It doesn't really help when you're trying to act all innocent and the victim and then you punch someone for maybe just bumping into you or calling you a simple name. The teenager is in a point of his life where he's struggling mentally. He doesn't fully understand about the Gods, being a Demigod, monsters, and all that kind of stuff. He wasn't really taught that since Chris never had the time between trying to get to Camp, site-seeing, and attempting (emphasis on "attempting") to teach each of them how to fight and defend themselves. Plus, a part of him blames himself for what happened. He can't figure out why, and that's why he's been on edge a lot recently. He doesn't seem to understand a thing. Memories of him and his old friends keep on flooding his mind and making him depressed. It also doesn't help, that he seems to refuse to make friends. After all that happened, one he isn't sure if anyone would want to be friends with him and secondly he doesn't know if he could risk loosing a good friend.
All and all, Sol may seem to have a slight case of split personality. Mostly his jealousy and anger seem to show with the occasional fake personalities he puts up, but sometimes his caring side shows. Sometimes he can be a real good friend and act like the confused teen searching for where he belongs that he actually is. He mainly uses fake personalities to protect himself. A part of him is scared that if someone might use his weaknesses to hurt him and also that if he let someone get close to who he really is, that they wouldn't like him. If that happened, he doesn't know what he would do. Despite trying to convince himself that he doesn't need anybody, that he's better off on his own, deep down Sol is actually pretty lonely.
5 likes: hanging out with his friends, training, reading, his sword and shield, spending time with his brother
5 dislikes: remembering the past, new people getting close to him, his father a bit, not knowing whether his friends are alive or not, school
Fatal Flaw: I would say it is his jealousy and how he doesn't want to let people get close to him
Friends: Anna Izumi (daughter of Apollo), Erin Davidson (son of Apollo), Chris (satyr), Teresa Shajig (daughter of Hermes), Jake Austin (son of Hades), Amber Kay {daughter of Hephaestus), Danny Minato (son of Aphrodite), Timothy McConnors (daughter of Athena), and the other members of the Spirits of Myth.
RPsample: quote from my character Arthur Milo/Feral on the roleplay site We're Falling Fast.
Arthur's hand quickly reached out and grasped Theodore's wrist tightly and roughly. He looked over at his crush and almost instantly released his hand after seeing the look on his face. Was he seriously worried about the plant? That couldn't be right. How could someone care about a monster like him? What if he hurt them? He wouldn't be able to ever live it down. "Th-there's something I have to tell you....you're not going to like it...." His voice was shakey, unsure. Suddenly the anger he had before vanished. It was as if he couldn't stay angry around his boyfriend. Still, he had to do this. He had to say these words. If the blonde immortal wanted answers, then he would get some....whether he ended up liking them or not was not the teenager's problem. He couldn't afford to hurt his friends at the base, or even the faint friends he had made that weren't members of Rider's Deck or Young Justice. Dylan, Sai, Cab, Collin...He thought those were their names. He wasn't sure. He had met Collin when she had visited the base, but had met Dylan, Sai, and Cab on that mission to the Testing Facility....which had also been when he had first officially talked to his dad, Armando. There was also Connor, a "friend" he knew from Coalfield that had just recently come to Jump City. He couldn't risk hurting them....He couldn't...."I'm leaving Rider's Deck."
The words seemed to float around in the air, hell everything seemed to. The world became foggy to the teen...Did he have tears in his eyes? No, couldn't be. Shakily he lifted a hand and touched underneath his eye....he did have tears in them...He could feel them...He tried to focus on the image of his boyfriend, but couldn't. He put his eyes on the ground, clasping his hands together and holding them in-between his legs, which were parted at the time. It wasn't that he didn't want to be a hero, which Rider's Deck was slowly but surely becoming. He--he couldn't become a hero. It wasn't possible for him. He was a monster, a born-- no, created killing machine. There was already a spot for him in a group that worked for Nebula. The Extermination Squad was its name. His dad had even offered to train him, enhance his powers. The dark-haired boy was going to take up that offer. If nothing else, he could secretly give information to Rider's Deck, Young Justice, and the Teen Titans without anyone knowing it was him. And if he ever became purely evil, like Milo planned on, then he trusted his friends to do what was right and kill him...well burn him, but it was the same thing in his mind. He trusted Harvey, he trusted Teddy, hell he trusted everyone to know and be able to put their pasts with him behind them and end his life if he ever became a true killing machine. If they didn't, then he prayed he would have the strength to take his own life.
Feral bit his lip and fiddled with his fingers, not wanting to hear if Teddy had a reply to that or not. The immortal was one person he could never, would never harm. He couldn't even imagine what he would do if he hurt his crush. "You know when people say 'its not you, its me'? It literally is me...I'm turning into some freak, some monster...I'm going to be hurting a lot of people and I can't bare to hurt you...I love you...hell, I'm in love with you... I can't hurt you...I just can't...." He lowered his head and ran his hands through his hair as he started to cry. He couldn't remember ever crying before. He never cried. Nothing ever upset him this much. The thought of loosing Theodore, or rather letting him go....was too much to bear...."I'm so so sorry. Please forgive me." he sobbed as he felt himself shaking a little. He mentally cussed, cursed, screamed at himself. He couldn't loose Teddy, but in order to protect him he had to let him go. Tears still coming out his eyes and his body still trembling a little, Arthur looked up at Teddy, not sure where he found the strength to pull his eyes from the ground. He opened his mouth and forced out the two words he had never wanted to hear. "We're over."

History:
Sol was born to the semi-wealthy Jefferson family on December 21st along with his twin brother, William. The teen grew up in Roseville, California living a half hard half easy life. Life at home was easy for the young boy as he grew up, but as he got older he started getting into more and more fights at school. William was always having to bail him out and find some way to keep it from their mom, who always ended up finding out. At the age of nine, the Jefferson twins were claimed by their father, Phthonus. Phthonus helped bring the satyr Chris and several other Demigods to where his sons were in order to escort them to Camp Half-Blood. Now ten years old, the boys were showing much more of the jealousy that came with being a son of Phthonus. They were always getting jealous of each other over the most simplest of things. They fought for awhile over the gift their father had given them. A shield and a sword. Engraved on the shield was the picture of an owl’s eye while on the sword’s hilt Alala was inscribed on it. After much debate, their father visited them again and gave the gifts to Sol, since he was the eldest. He hadn’t expected his twin boys to decline the offer to go to Camp Half-Blood. After Sol declined, though, William seemed to re-think it and agreed to go as if he thought of it as an opportunity to get away from his brother. Being upset with his brother, Sol stormed off back to their home. That night a pack of Hellhounds attacked their house. Thankfully William had been there, packing a backpack full of stuff, and woke Sol up. They tried to find their mother but couldn’t. Chris and Jake Austin, son of Nemesis, ran into the house and pulled the twins out just before the building erupted into a ball of flames. They watched in horror as their home burned. William started screaming their mother’s name as Sol held him back from the fire. His brother screamed that he could feel their mother’s pain and smell her flesh burning, which disturbed Sol. While holding William back, the young boy watched as the Demigod Anna Izumi, Scoot Hatori, and Teresa Shajig fought off the Hellhounds while Jake and Chris tried to put the fire out. When the flames vanished, the only thing that was left was a pile of charred objects that had once been their home. William cried on the sidewalk as Sol searched through everything. He couldn’t find one thing of his mother’s but found the sword and shield. Knowing that besides their father, William was the only family he had, Sol changed his mind and decided to travel with Chris and the group of Demigods.
A few months later the group ran into several more Demigods. Amber Kay, Danny Minato, Erin Davidson, Tammy Kinya, Ally Tuben, Selena Karson, and Stephiny Collyns. The group of Demigods and Satyr slowed their pace down, after not being attacked by any monster for a few weeks. They found no point in rushing to the camp, even Chris didn’t seem to want to hurry. They took their time and traveled around the United States to several different landmarks, museums, and any tourist attraction. Years went by and soon the Demigods all turned thirteen, with Chris turning sixteen. While in Las Vegas, they wandered into the Lotus Casino, where they were there for six months. They didn’t know how long they had been in there until they met the mortals Duke and Dren Hailway, who thought it was in the 1980s. Horrified, Sol and Anna quickly got the group out of there along with Duke and Dren.
On December 16th, after Anna had been going on and on about wanting to name their so called “team”, Sol pointed out how at least one of each of their weapons from their parents had the name of a spirit in Greek mythology on it. After that, Anna came up with the name “Spirits of Myth”. Despite the cheesy name, it stuck amongst the group and soon everyone started calling themselves the Spirits of Myth, or SOM for short. Then on December 21st of the next year, Sol and William’s fifteenth birthday, the group were attacked while they were asleep. Sol woke up to Chris yelling at everyone to get up. Most of the monsters, he had never seen before except for the Hellhounds. They tried their best to defend, but the monsters were too strong and the group was forced to scatter. Sol tried his best to remember the meeting spot they had all agreed on if they got separated, but couldn’t. He decided to go to New York, knowing that eventually the others would get to Camp Half-Blood. He was almost constantly being chased by monsters. He tried his best to fight them off, but he wasn’t trained in swordsmanship and ended up using his shield more than his sword. Eventually, he made it to Camp Half-Blood where he almost collapsed and was nursed back to health. He never spoke of his friends, not knowing what happened to them, or his past, not wanting to remember it until the day he saw his friends’ faces again.
