Face- Pale complexion, with deeply set eyes (which tends to hide them in shadow)
Hair- Brown hair
Eyes- Light blue eyes
Build- About 5'7, skinny
Clothing- Black jeans and gray tennis shoes (normally). Sometimes wears a dark brown cloak.
Personality: Zephenus normally can hid his worries and fears and act like nothing is wrong. He can laugh easily and be merry. But at times his inner feelings take over and his eyes turn a murky pale. It's like looking down a hidden well into a sea of emotion. He doesn't like to talk about his past, and he quickly becomes silent when parents are spoken of. His temper is rather like a tidal wave—it takes an effort to make him angry, but when he is, it's better to not be around.

His sister Violet was born three years before that, when his mother Julie was still married to her first husband. He later vanished on a trip to Africa, and left Julie to fend for herself and Violet. Ten years after Zephenus was born, Violet left for college in Florida. After about two months, the letters from her suddenly stopped, and she was never heard from since. Not long afterward, his mother Julie fell ill and strange men began appearing near their house in Georgia. Unknown to him, she knew a lot about the demigods and the whole hidden world. She sent for a satyr, who happened to be Bern, to take Zephenus to Camp Half-blood. Not long after they left, a note reached him, stating that his mother had died from an incurable illness.
Powers: Control the winds and weather, can cause huge storms and tornadoes (though it takes a lot of energy to control them), always knows his location (as long as he's not below ground or at sea), create a simple light in his hands

The man shook his head. "I'm no god! I'm—different. Like a different sort of being. I don't have time to explain, the sun will soon shine here, and I will be forced to leave."
As Zephenus slowly shook his head, the man suddenly took a step forward. Before he could react, the luminous hand touched his. A tingle shot through his spine, and a strange, cold-and-warm feeling filled him.
"Trust me, for your mother, Zephenus. For Julie..." And as he spoke, the sun peeped over the edge of the valley.
With a frightening wail, the man vanished into smoke, that drifted away and up into the empty blue sky.
